This significant milestone follows Aiyedatiwa’s victory in the Ondo State gubernatorial election, where he secured 366,781 votes, defeating his main opponent, Agboola Ajayi of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who received 117,845 votes.
The certificates were issued in accordance with the electoral commission’s procedures, marking an important step in the transition process. Aiyedatiwa’s win was announced by INEC, and the presentation of the certificates confirms his status as the Governor-elect of Ondo State.
