Our Gwama Heroes, dead or living deserves being celebrated says Hon Arah

A great delegation of the Association of Ilaje Dynamic Patriots known as GWAMA (a formidable Ilaje Local Security Outfit) paid a courtesy Visit to Ilaje LG Chairman in his Office at the Secretariat Complex in Igbokoda yesterday Wednesday 19th March 2025.
The Gwama delegation was led by its General Chairman Prince Saanumi Ola Lucky popularly known as DANFO who first spoke on behalf of Gwama at the Meeting, thanking Mr Chairman for welcoming the delegation into the Council. While speaking at the LG Chairman’s office, Gwama President General Saanumi Ola(Danfo) congratulated the LG Chairman on his official assumption(inauguration) of office as a democratically elected Chairman of ilaje Local Government.After this, he explained some of the challenges being faced by Gwama in the past by previous administrations. But hoping and optimistic that the Arah led-Local Government will accord more regard and recognition to this formidably gallant Security Men of Gwama who fought tirelessly for Ilaje Nation emacipation.
In response to the Statement of Gwama Leader, the LG Council appreciated the Visitation of Gwama Generals and Leaders.He made the Gwama Leaders to understand that he knows much about the activities of Gwama in the area of Security, assuring them of better welfare/treatment of its Members. Hon Arah made a call for the celebration of present and past Gwama Heros who had fought relentlesdly, assiduously and laboriously for the emacipation, freedom and liberation of the Ilaje Nation.He went further in his speech to stated that the little stipend of Gwama shall be reviewed upwardly later in the year. He acknowledged that Gwama Generals and Leaders have been behaving maturely and wisely.
