Inaugurates committee for next meeting
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the Nigerian Police, Divisional Headquarters Igbokoda, Ilaje Local Government held a strategic Security meeting with Ilaje Youths, Vigilante, Forest Security Services, Hunters, and other local security outfits today in Igbokoda at the Divisional Hall.
The much awaited community safety Partnership policing in Ilaje local Government, has been officially inaugurated by the DPO, Igbokoda Police Station, Mr. Adejoh Sunday, towards ensuring the protection of lives and properties across communities in Ilaje Local Government, Area of Ondo State.
The Security Meeting, which took place on Tuesday March 18, 2024, was held at the Divisional Police hall with Ilaje Youths, stakeholders, Religious leaders, and various local security outfits of the community in attendance.
The DPO maintained that Security is everybody’s business and concern.
As a responsible leadership in this community, we always follow the due process of the law in doing anything in this community.
The meeting was agreed to be rescheduled to have a larger house, and committee was set up for the next meeting.
