It was a great gathering of great personalities from ILAJE origin, from all walks of life converged at a famous event centre the Williams Hall Igbokoda which many ilaje stakeholders such as the community leaders, the women, the youths, and host of others across the entire ilaje land on Thursday, October 31st 2024 graced.
The main purpose of holding the great stakeholders engagement is to bring together ilaje leaders and all citizens to deliberate, strategies, devise and make good plan on how to deliver a massively impressive votes for oson of the soil who is a Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to emerge victoriously as the winner of the gubernatorial race in the state with a large margin which necessitated the call for the summit.
In the course of the summit, a prominent APC chieftain, Chief OLUSOLA OKE ( SAN) urged all ilaje stakeholders at the meeting to come together in unity to deliver a tremendous vote for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa victory.
Also speaking at the summit, high chief N. I OWOWA from ugbo kingdom in ilaje constituency I, voiced for the unity of ilaje ahead of the Governorship Election.
A Community head, Chief BAMIGBOSE ADEBOWALE, Baale gbabijo community represented ilaje constituency II, called on all the community leaders to be in one accord to mobilize eligible children and themselves for the success of Aiyedatiwa.
The women representative chief (Mrs) Roseline oyenehin and Mrs. folake omomowo, sounds victorious notice on all the women to troupe out largely to cast their votes for Governor Aiyedatiwa in the November 16 Governorship election.
The spiritual Leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim and Stakeholder of Igbokoda community, Rev (Dr.) S. O Ayodele advised all the spiritual fathers and mothers to support Governor Aiyedatiwa with prayers, he also encouraged them to talk to their children to vote for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Comrade Samson Ewajane the ugbo youth chairman advises all the youths to ensure that their votes are the largest across the 18-local government of Ondo State.
The summit which lasted for about 7 hours, had notable sons and daughters of Ilaje land to deliberate in unit for the first time on how to deliver each polling unit collectively across Ilaje land for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
Mr. The Governor arrived at the venue with overwhelming welcome drums, and his happiness to be received in such a mode following his acceptance by his people could be traced to his genuine efforts to the developmental process he had set in place for the progress and rapid growth of Ilaje land.
While addressing the gathering, the Governor discussed his partnership with the federal government for traversing of Ondo State through Ilaje Local Government in the construction of the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway which the minister of work had visited Ondo State to meet with him about it and hosted in Akure before he arrived the summit.
Flag-off of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway in Ondo State will be performed by the Minister of works before heading to Delta State. It is to be noted that the road is already linking many communities in Ilaje land, and the passage of the road to Delta State can go through only at the end of Ilaje Ondo State end.
The Governor listed his developmental agenda for the people of Ilaje land and the state.
The summit which was Chaired by the Ilaje Agenda Committee, Dr. Ibukun Omotehinse, the Director General of the Aiyedatiwa/APC Campaign Council In Ilaje Local Government, Barrister Yinka Orokoto as DG, Asiwaju Mallon Ogbaro, as secretary, and other notable Stakeholders, recorded the attendance all sons and daughters of Ilaje.
In and affirmative decision of all Stakeholders, sons and daughters of Ilaje land, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa was declared as the consensus candidate who will be voted in the November Governorship Election across Ilaje land.
Leading the declaration, Chief Olusola Oke moved the motion for the adoption of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to be voted in Ilaje without any alternative vote to be recorded for anyone else in the entire Ilaje race, and was supported in a standing ovation by all sons and daughters of the Ilaje race at the summit.
Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa Is the first Ilaje person who will be declared as a consensus candidate of a political party for the first time in the entire Ilaje race without an alternative vote to any other political party to be voted in the November Governorship.
In supporting the gospel of the Governor across the state, campaign materials were presented to the Governor by the Ilaje Coastal Association and declared their readiness morally and financially for vigorous campaign strategies for the APC in the November Governorship Election.
In the history of Ilaje, whatever they declare to do is what they shall surely do.
It is acceptable that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa will be recorded victoriously in the entire Ilaje Local Government at the November 16th Governorship Election in Ondo State.
