The Ilaje Local Government(LG) Executive Chairman Chief(Hon) Amona Maurice Ola Oripenaye(ARAH) has applauded the great plans unveiled by the Ondo State Governor H. E Hon(Dr) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa regarding the showcasing of Araromi seaside potentials to the world and its environmental development; this event came up yesterday Saturday February 22 , 2025 during the Day 2 Programme of the Governor and his Deputy Inauguration activities at Araromi Seaside in Ilaje Local Government of Ondo State.
While delivering his great opening speech as the host LG Chairman, Hon Oripenaye(Arah) stated that the showcasing of the potentials of Araromi Seaside to the entire globe would attract international investors and if the potentials are fully harnessed, it will generate huge revenue for the development of Araromi Community, Ilaje LG and the Ondo State as a whole.Also, in his speech, well delivered, Hon Arah described ARAROMI SEASIDE as a tourist centre, an economic hub and a gateway linking Ondo State with Lagos State.However, the Ondo State Governor, during his World Press Conference explained how he intends to develop Araromi Seaside Beach, continues with the linking road construction to Lagos to facilitate easy movement of cars and people.
Morever, the Governor of the State disclosed that the recruited Teachers in the State last year will start receiving their letter of appointments after his inauguration on Monday 24th of February, 2025 .Mr Governor used the opportunity to addressed many questioms posed to him on the development of Ondo State in other aspects by the invited professional Pressmen.A free Medical Programme was organised for our people at the event. Besides, other highlights of the event include Ondo State Cultural Group Performance, Ilaje Cultural troupe display, Musical performance by Daddy Showkey and meyo meyo music Croner/Artiste; a popularly famous ilaje-born Commedian Seyi Aletile(Seyilaw) Moderated the great Event.
In attendance, were Governor Aiyedatiwa, his Deputy Dr Olayide Adelami, the Ondo State Speaker of House of Assembly Rt Hon. Olamide Oladiji, ODHA Members, SSAs/ SAs to the Governor, LG Chairmen, traditional Rulers,Security agencies, Party Political Leaders, Ilaje people, the Press and host of others.
Finally, Ilaje LG Executive Chairman Hon Arah greatly thanked Mr Governor, his Deputy, Mr Speaker, the traditional Rulers, the Security agencies, Chairmen from other LGAs, Chairman’s Aides and other important personalities who attended the great event for their highly valued presence at the event , wishing them all a safe journey mercy to their respective destinations.
