It was a celebration galore with mamoth Crowd in igbokoda, the headquarters of Ilaje LG as the new LG Council Boss arrived from Akure after the LG Chairmen official inauguragion on Monday 17th of February, 2025
The new Executive Chairman of Ilaje LG Hon Maurice Oripenaye(Arah) gave a brief but meaningful address at the event. Enormously, he thanked God Almighty for the success of the event.He also appreciated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa who allowed transparency in the process of selecting him as the Ilaje LG APC Party Candidate.In the same vein, he appreciates his beautiful Wife Chief(Mrs) Clara Adeola Oripenaye and the good people of ilaje LG.However, the peaple of ilaje LG expressed delight on the ground that the new Chairman were able to identifies myriad of challenges besetting the Local government and expressed his administration’s determination to transform and develop ilaje land entirely.
He solicited for the support of all and Sundry in building an ilaje LG of our dream. Again, he promised to fulfill his electoral promises.Special appreciation was extended to the Security Agencies.Hon Arah appreciated all Party Leaders , all Ilaje LG Staff, all Men of God who came to pray for his success in his new office . Besides, NULGE Chairman, Ilaje LG Comr. Bolaji Ayese gave a goodwill message, thanking Governor Aiyedatiwa for supporting Hon Arah to emerge as the new Executive Chairman.
