
• Commends Mr Governor’s choice of Prince Biyi Poroye as Chairman
The National Association of Ilaje Students (NAIS) National Body has extended its warmest congratulations to Prince Biyi Olaleye Poroye on his meritorious appointment as the new Executive Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), Malam Mallon Ogbaro as the Executive Director, Finance; Dr. Olujimi Kufo as Executive Director, Projects; and other esteemed members of the OSOPADEC board, by His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Ayedatiwa.
According to a statement released by the leadership of NAIS National Body, under the leadership of Sen. Comr. Franklin Olabode Amuwa (GCIS). Prince Poroye’s appointment, alongside the other appointees, is a testament to their commitment, expertise and capacity to drive meaningful development to the mandate areas. The Association noted that these appointments not just reflect Mr Governor’s tireless efforts and transformational leadership, but also demonstrate the trust and confidence he has in their abilities to steer the leadership course of the Commission efficiently.
NAIS expressed its profound gratitude to Mr Governor for fitting round pegs in round holes, which will ultimately usher in a new dawn of emancipation, and also prioritize the critical concerns and yearnings of the people in the oil-producing region. The Association is confident that under the leadership of Prince Poroye, alongside Malam Ogbaro, Dr. Kufo, and the entire OSOPADEC team, the commission will experience continue growth, transparent governance and inclusive development.
NAIS prayed for God’s guidance, strength and wisdom for all the appointees as they embark on this new role. The Association stands in solidarity with them and look forward to an era of impactful initiatives and collaboration that will enhance the lives of the mandate areas, particularly the students populace.
