Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, NDDC Managing Director/CEO, led the meeting, reiterating that the names of the beneficiaries will be published in December. He emphasized that the scheme was conceived during recent engagements with ethnic youth leaders, making the meeting essential for providing updates on progress.
Dr. Ogbuku noted that the selection will be based on oil quantum production and only registered individuals will be considered. He also assured that those not selected this time will have their data retained for future programs of the Commission as it will be merged with that of Project HOPE.
