
The Ondo State Ministry of Information and Orientation, under the leadership of Hon. Idowu Ajanaku, has unveiled a lineup of weekly radio media engagements across selected FM stations in Akure.
The programmes are designed to broaden public awareness of government policies and projects while also reinforcing the ethos of good citizenship.
The flagship programmes are, Ondo Path to Progress, Itesiwaju Ipinle Ondo, and Omoluabi, which will be aired on Adaba 88.9 FM, Fresh 102.9 FM, and Orange 94.5 FM.
On Adaba 88.9 FM, Ondo Path to Progress airs every Monday, 2:30 – 3:00 pm, while Itesiwaju Ipinle Ondo, the Yoruba version will be on air every Thursday, 12:30 – 1:00 pm. On Fresh 102.9 FM,Ondo Path to Progress runs every Thursday, 9:30 – 10:00 am. On Orange 94.5 FM, Omoluabi will be on every Thursday, 5:30 – 6:00 pm.
According to Hon. Ajanaku, Ondo Path to Progress and Itesiwaju Ipinle Ondo are magazine programmes created to reel out the OUR EASE Agenda of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s administration. He explained that the shows will spotlight developmental strides across sectors, featuring live interviews with government functionaries, political office holders and stakeholders, while allowing citizens to give feedback through call-in segments.
Speaking further, the Commissioner said Omoluabi focuses on moral rebirth and cultural values, with the aim of reminding citizens of the virtues of integrity, discipline, and communal responsibility, while discouraging anti-social behaviours.
Hon. Ajanaku affirmed that the new weekly engagements reflect the Ministry’s determination to bring government closer to the people, ensure transparency, and foster an informed and value-driven society.
