In line wth his good intention to partner or collaborate with Organization that shares his vision for the holistic/overall development of Ilaje Land, the Capacity Executive Chairman of Ilaje LG Hon Maurice Oripenaye globally known as ARAH, receives two different Organizations ; the Members of Nigeria Hunters Forest Security Services(NHFSS) and the Members of National Union of Ilaje Youths (NAUIYO) in his Office on tuesday March 18th , 2025 at the LG Secretariat, Igbokoda.
Speaking at the Meeting, Hon Arah welcomes the Members of NHFSS to the LG, praised them on their previous efforts in combing the forest and exposing hide-outs of the Criminals, controlling traffic to maintain order and peace at the Marketplaces. Also, the Chairman expressed the readiness of the LG Council to partner with the Local Security Outfit even before their official declaration by the law-making Body.In his words, the Commandant of the NHFSS, Commander Menukuro Isaac sought the Support of the Ilaje LG in the area of logisgics and proper recognition of the NHFSS.In response to the request of the Security Outfit(NHFSS),the Chairman assured the Officers of rendering them assistance where necessary especially in the area of providing Utility Vehicles for proper mobility of the Officers and the recognition request was granted too.
While speaking further, the Chairman stated that NHFSS as a non-paramilitary organization is saddling with the responsibility of protecting life and Property of the Citizens.The importance of peace was underscored by the Capacity Chairman saying that no Nation or Country can achieve a meaningful development in the absence of peace.”For us to enjoy relative peace supremely, the issue of Security must be properly handled to ensure the Safety of our People.Moreover, the Chairman acknowledged the past committment of NHFSS Members being displayed in Ilaje LG in curbing crime, controlling traffic congestion during Market day. He encouraged them to continue the Goodwork of securing life, property and preventing traffic congestion during Market days.
In another similar angle, the LG Chairman received the Members of the National Union of Ilaje Youths(NAUIYO) in his Office .The purpose of their visit is to felicitate the Chairman and his Deputy on their official assumption of Office. The delegation of these visionary Youths was led by its Pioneer President comrade Ogunyemi Taiwo (SiR T) who stated the aims and objectivce of the great Association. The objectives of NAUIYO include eradication of dichotomy among the Youths of Ilaje land, fostering Unity among the Ilaje Youths, representing the interest of Ilaje Youths etc .Equally, the NAUIYO President Sought the Support of the LG Chairman towards the activities of the Union in charting a new course for the growth of our people and our land. Lastly, the LG Chairman, the LG HOLGA Mr Atibioke, the Secretary to the LG Hon Segun Odolo and other top Council Leaders moved around the Council to inspect areas for assessment to know how best to fix or work upon affected place for proper rehabilitation around the Council.
